Rahel completed her Bachelor’s degree in Special Education at the University of Cologne. During this time, her interest in educational theory and research was already awakened. She is currently doing her Master’s in Education Science at the University of Dortmund with a stay at Gothenborg University with the same area of specialisation.

Rahel’s research interest focuses on the connection of religions and beliefs upon education.

During her internship, Rahel will investigate the influence of extreme religious or fundamentalist religious structures on education and the associated development of adolescents. She will also pursue this topic in her Master’s thesis.
